The Best Twin Buggy
Designed to grow with your family this inline double features various seating options and can work for twins or children of different age groups. Its foam-filled rubber tires never flatten and its soft suspension makes light work of kerbs.
It's easy to travel because it folds super-flat and it satisfies the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports. It also has a large storage basket under the seat and a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
With its elegant design, auto-folding feature and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is a fantastic option for flyers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. This is slightly larger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it is in compliance with the regulations for hand luggage of airlines. It can be kept in overhead lockers during flights (subject to airline approval). It was easy to clean using a cloth and there were many extras like footmuffs and nappy and buggie bags that clip on to the handles, and hoods that come with UV50+ protection.
We love the way it's compact when collapsed, and that it fits easily through small spaces such as shops, narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace - and it's even more convenient to maneuver up and down the stairs. The bumper bar can also serve as handle. There's also lightweight double stroller that's flip-flop friendly and has a colour indicator. The basket is a little smaller than some other models however it's large enough to take an adequate-sized changing bag, and there are also additional traytrays for snacks, drinks and toys.
It's suitable from the moment of birth and can be combined with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). For older children, there's an innovative backrest that flattens for nap times or extended walks. The 5-point harness with magnets is simple to use. It is also super light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.
Joie Evalite Duo
British brand Joie is dedicated to "sharing happiness with the new parents" and has created pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to take two children side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both children can view the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for children available. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to drive, ride, lift and fold and the frame expands in width to accommodate the second seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding is an absolute highlight. They were amazed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did notice that it's trickier to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat can't fully recline, and parents were forced to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with young children. Nonetheless, they say the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with some tweaks. They are awestruck by how small and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that provides parents with all the options they need. It is compatible with a wide range of car seats and features a a one-click system to fold, making it easy to take with you on the go. It comes with a variety of extras, including liners and raincovers. The rival brands charge a separate fee for these.
iCandy Peach is a favourite among parents who are fashion-conscious due to its chic and modern jersey fabric. The 2022 model of the Peach has been subjected to a variety of minor tweaks that improve performance and efficiency without sacrificing style.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the ideal option for twins. It is also slightly smaller than previous Peach models but that doesn't mean it from providing the space you'll require for your kids.
This is an excellent double stroller if you want something stylish and adaptable. It can be used as a single pram right from birth and then buy an additional kit to transform it into a twin buggy. It also has a huge basket and 5 reclining positions to provide maximum comfort for your child. It also has an integrated carry strap and a single-handed folding mechanism. It's bulky to store, especially since it folds into two parts instead of just one.
iCandy Orange
This is one of the best twin buggies available. The seats are able to be fitted with liners and footmuffs to keep your children warm during cold winter months. The carrycot can be inserted into the Orange chassis easily with gates that open and is comfortable and spacious. lightweight double pushchair and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 different combinations.
The wheels are built to handle rough roads and terrain. There is also a large shopping basket, which is ideal for large supermarkets. This pushchair is comfortable to drive and has a light feel, and the rounded pedal brake is easy to use (but not flip-flop friendly). The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. After it's folded the front wheels slide under the basket, and the chassis can stand.
The Orange is a fantastic choice for parents who appreciate style and have a toddler, baby or both. They're looking for a buggy that can adapt to their child. It's a great option for parents who anticipate another baby in the near future and need an extra pushchair that is adaptable. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it should last for several years and will have a high resale price too. It's also available with a buggy board which can reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Established by an Australian, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first brand to focus on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim, able to fit through doors and easily maneuver in tight aisles. It is among the smallest and most feature-packed double buggies on the market and has been awarded numerous awards including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
The narrow seats are large enough for children of different age groups to be able to sit comfortably, and the seats are independently reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies have the ability to flip out sun visors, and the storage basket is extremely spacious. It works with almost all brands and can accept two adapters for infant car seats when you purchase car seats.
The only issue is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is heavy to lift into and out of the trunk and could be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. It's priced higher than other double buggies. It is built to last, and it offers many advantages for the money. It is a great choice for urban parents who want to avoid lugging a bulky stroller around. The padded harnesses and 5-point buckle ensure that it is safe for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey Twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and practical design. It's a great product, but it's not without flaws.
For one, it offers very little in terms of extra conveniences for both the parents and their children. There's a small bin next to the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached and that's the only thing it has. There aren't any cups, tray for parents or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.
The seats also don't recline to a very flat position and the gap between them is a bit wide and our 5-year-old had trouble lying back with ease. It's unfortunate considering that it's a premium vehicle.

On the positive side, it's easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels are great for climbing up steep slopes and steps. It's also slim enough to fit in the majority of doorways, and it folds easily for storage and transportation. It can be switched to mono mode in only three clicks, should you need more space or a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child with the comfort wheeled board should you're in need of. If you're looking to save money there are alternatives that are less expensive. If you love the brand and can afford it, it's worth the cost.
